JB Jr. vs Hot Rails

I have a Kramer Focus 111S (strat copy) and I want to upgrade the bridge single coil. I use a Soldano Reverb-o-sonic if that helps. I play alternative music. Basically Green Day and Blink sounding riffs and power chords. I was looking at the Hot Rails, but it seems TOO powerful for my needs. Will the JB Jr. be my best choice, or should I keep searching?

If you're thinking the Hot Rails is too powerful, then the JB Jr will be great. It has an awesome humbucker sound in a single coil, great when you through on the distortion and works with clean tones too.

Exactly. The Hot Rails is a beast; so much output on that thing. For the style of music you described the JB Jr. is perfect.

Yes, it's pretty powerful, but I like the overtones that seems to provide. In a real world example....this is what it sounds like:

NOTE: The backing chord arrangement was played with the Hot Rails, along with most of the lead work in the first minute (although you can hear where I switched back and forth from the Hot Rails to the neck single coil.) It starts with the Hot Rails, goes to the neck pup at 0:28, then back to the Hot Rails at 0:44.
