JB jr vs. Lil' 59?

Which one has a...

1) thicker, not too bright tone
2) "cleans up" better in humbucker mode
3) sounds better as a single coil(strat quack) when tapped.

well i love my lil59 (bridge) for AC/DC / Zeppelin type sounds but i'm not a fan of it on the clean settings of my amp - sounds too...quacky - but not in a strat way - bit weird.

never tried the JBjr - what kinda music would you be using it for?

Everything from classic rock to metal, but mostly hard rock.

I have the lil 59 in a mexi strat with an alder body and it rocks very well rounded for many styles. I play anything from zepplin to metallica no problem
