JB vs Custom

I have a Godin Freeway Classic and not very happy with the tone of the JB in the bridge. Would a custom be less ice picky and harsh.

It will be more balanced, but I did notice that the SH-5 has a bit more sizzle in the treble than the JB.

if you're getting too much high end with the jb, the SH-5 could be an option
the demon's a good halfway point, if you like the cut of the jb but want a more balanced sound like benjy said. could make a good match with the PAF pro too
