JB with a Demon

I just bought a late 80's charvel. It has a screamin demon in the bridge but I'm not really feeling it. I'm thinking about putting a JB in the bridge and moving the Demon to the neck. The charvel is alder with a rosewood fingerboard. The sound i'm going for is a Lynch, Nuno, Jake e Lee type. Is this a good idea?

Yes, it's a very good idea. They're 80's flavoured pickups. But I guess you also need a Marshall.
A lot of charvels come with a JB, it's a great match.
I have a JB in a strat and I can nail that 'Jake E Lee/Bark at the moon' tone.

Swap the Alnicos to Ceramic 8 for more tighness and aggression.

tse i don't know what that is. i've been playing for 20 years but i have no idea about modifying anything i buy. what does that entail and do i really need to do it.
