JBJ and SEYL

Hello
I have attached a photo of a Les Paul I just purchased. It has two Seymour Duncan's in it (neck = JBJ, Bridge = SEYL). From what I read on this forum I think they are in the wrong spots. Would you agree? I have also read they sound great in either. I would have to agree. My other Les Paul has Seymour's in it so I was thinking selling these and getting a set of Gibson T tops so one of the guitars would has stock equipment. Any comments are welcomed. Also what is a fair price for the pups? Thanks for your time.

Paul

Re: JBJ and SEYL

SEY is a Duncan Distotion neck pickup.

jBJ is a JB made by Maricela Juarez. She runs the custom shop with Seymour and Derek duncan.

jBJs are highly sought after. If you dont like it in your Les Paul, you should have no problem trading aforum bro for a Duncan Distortion bridge pickup.

Re: JBJ and SEYL

If I had a JBJ and an SEY already in a Les Paul, I'd just put the JBJ in the bridge, the SEY in the neck and leave it at that. It's already been modded, so putting T-Tops back in doesn't exactly make it stock, unless you just want to hear it. Keep in mind someone took the T-Tops out because of how it sounded.

Re: JBJ and SEYL

You don't want those. Nothing to them. You should just send them to me so that I can get them out of your way.

Ok. Thanks for the input. I think I have some thinking to do. Well some listening and thinking. Any good sound bites on the YouTube? Or files here? Hey dotsdad I like the EVH quote. When I listened to the guitar I was once again reminded why companies like Mr Duncan's exist!
