JG100 pickup? Anybody know what it is? Are they SJAG-1s?

Hello, I've just bought an upgraded Squier Jaguar online. It was sold to me as having Seymour Duncan SJAG-1 Vintage for Jaguar pickups. But when I got it and tried it the sound wasn't what i expected. So I opened it up and found pickups saying JG100 B ADWH Bridge 1206. I can't find JG100s online.Has anyone got any idea what they really are and could they be another nomenclature for SJAG-1s.

I need to know fast so I can get back to the seller.Thanks!

Rich, those p'ups are Duncan Designed p'ups, which are stock with that particular model, so no, that guitar is NOT "upgraded".

Hi Peter, thanks for replying so quick! That's the impression I have except that the stock pups are listed as 101s while these are clearly 100s. But I can find no reference to 100s.

I also found no real reference to JG 100, but to JG 101. So it is a mystery. But they certainly aren't USA made Seymour Duncan pickups, so unless the seller's 'upgrades' included other things, what you bought was not what was described.

Yes, it's confusing. The seller swears he had the real SJAGs put in. Could it be that SJAG-1s have "SJ100" written on their base sticker? Have you any idea if they have a sticker underneath or not.
