K KBliss New member Jun 10, 2015 #1 I was suggesting to a friend with a used Blackstar HT100 head that he try JJ power tubes... but I'm basing this on my JJ preamp tube experience. Can anyone chime if & how JJ 6L6 Power tubes would improve his sound? Thanks!

A AlexR New member Jun 11, 2015 #4 Re: Jj Power tubes in Blackstar ^ Yes, apart from the fact that it might get a bit crowded in bed...... ......tubes tend to be a bit different both individually and between brands. The amp circuits and your ears will determine what works best.
