i will
it's the design that behringer copied & ruined, and honestly those behringer heads don't sound all that bad with a good cab, got a real natural tone to em, which with an upright is pretty important, i don't like it when they just sound like a more thumpy bass guitar
with that EQ & preamp though, i'm gonna be able to dial in some serious kick to the nuts thump
can't wait

Cool! I have an Upright as well...my school gave it to me. I have to give it back at some point, but I've had it for a few years. They're such cool instruments...I love messing around with it. That looks like it'll be really interesting...keep us posted!

The first time (and only time) I've played an amplified upright it was with one of those SWR combos with the 4x8.
I suck so much at upright- I think my friend Rob specifically broke his father's old 1930's Kay so I couldn't play it...

hahahahaha
man, if someone is willing to break a 30's kay just to keep you away from it, you must be pretty horrid
it's not all that hard man, just spend a few weeks with one, build up callouses & such
spacecaptain - are you in orchestra or something? If not & you're just borrowing it cuz you can, you should string it up with some guts, run you about $160 but they're incredible for slap
