So recently I've been mad into Philip Sayce.
He has always had incredible sound but I feel like the past couple of years it has reached even higher emotional levels. I understand his pedals and gear are top class but I truly believe its that right hand that is generating 90% of that beautiful, sweet but aggressive tone.
I've fallen in love with both his aggressive fuzz tones, when he shreds blues licks and just makes the guitar scream, as well as his clean little-wing/Lenny style playing in songs like Once or 5:55.
Anyway, I just wanted to start a general discussion about his playing, his gear, any experiences you may have had with him whether conversations or live shows etc..
Any input is appreciated, anything at all about the great Philip Sayce!
