Carvin custom shop kit. Alder body (Swamp ash with an ebony board might have been to bright for me.)
I'm amazed at how fast this went together. It took me around 15 minutes to put it together once I was done with the finishing process...
Everything fits very tight and snug and goes together great. The fret work is, bar none, the best I've ever seen. The stock electronics aren't bad but they're a tad scooped. (Leaving the singles due to funds, but I ordered a dimarzio double whammy from the custom shop
The wilkinson trem was the biggest bonus to me, along with the sprezels. Takes less than 2 minutes to completely re-string, and you can't get it to go out of tune for nothing. I was doing more with it than I feel comfortable doing on a floyd... (I have some weird paranoia about the nut on a floyd snapping off, well on my kramer that is. Cranking on it starts getting noisey.)
All of it is just lightly tung oiled and wire brushed. I used some lemon oil on the body to even out.
All in all at under $500 this is probably the best guitar money can buy.
And yes, I know the white guard with a natural body looks weird to some people but I like it.
