Just joined the LP Melody Maker club!

Re: Just joined the LP Melody Maker club!

Congrats!

I'm quite curious about those... that simplicity is appealing... and it'll look killer if you get a pickguard for it.

Enjoy!

Did you get a new one or a used one? The new ones are all mahogany bodies and necks.

I really wish I still had my '63. Great axe; all mahogany, thin, resonant body, and a huge log of a neck. I bought it for $125 bucks and did the 'Travers' job on it with 2 HB's and a Badass bridge. Great sounding guitar for almost no money. Never shoulda sold it.

oh, god, totally. i made a killing on this one, there's a finish mark on the back of the neck..

the new ones have some major mojo going on, you can really dig in and it really brings out the sparks - i'm hardly playing my ibanez now, this honeymoon is gonna take a while :laugh2:

I agree. The P-90 is surprisingly good! Has some nice midrange complexity. Mine was on sale for $379 + MI tax -- 6%. Musician's Fiend is selling them for $500 +
