Just ordered a C.Rex speaker! Quick question about installation

I just got a raise at work that included 3 month of back-pay at my new rate. I decided to splurge on a few gear purchases that have been on hold for a while, and first up on that list was a Cannabis Rex for my Deluxe-ish amp. I'm excited to hear if it will make the difference I'm hoping for!

My question is how difficult is it to install a new speaker? It seems like it's just detach the current one, put in the new one, plug it in to the output jack. That seems far to simple, but I'm probably over thinking things.

its that simple

The most important thing is to firmly hold onto the magnet, because it's going to want to slam into the transformers or chassis.

Also, keep a second hand on your screw bit, and firmly guide it onto the bolts.
The speaker magnet is so strong it can make your grip slip on the screwdriver, forcing it straight into the cone.

You'd be amazed at how many people scratch or puncture their new speaker due to the magnetic pull toward metal or tools.

I'll keep that in mind. It should be here next week.

Yep..just be REALLY careful. Plus if the bolts are anchored like spikes and you have to tighten nuts...like old fender combos....make sure you don't miss and poke a hole in the cone. As said...take your time and don't let the magnet tug you in the wrong direction. Once complete and all tight....ROCK THAT THANG! :-)
