Just Ordered a Saturday Night Special Bridge PU

It's going in this guitar...

It came stock with Burstbuckers. Didn't really take to the BB bridge PU at the time, so years ago I installed a Duncan JB. I'd been using the JB in most of my guitars for years, but lately have been getting away from using that pickup.

Almost all of my guitars now have medium to high output PUs, mostly ceramic. I am looking forward to see how the Alnico 4 SNS sounds in this guitar. I play classic rock/metal in a cover band using a line 6 Helix.

Anyone have a SNS? What do you think of it?

That’s a sharp guitar.
I remember the DC Modern got a lot of hate when it first was introduced but I liked it right away.
I’m sure the SNS will sound killer.

I just put a SNS in the bridge of my SG not too long ago. Was on the fence about it, was leaning towards a Lollar humbucker sized P90 but took a drubbing on taxes so had to re-evaluate. No regrets going with the SNS.

Well, the SNS delivered yesterday. I just finished installing it and I have a big-ass grin on my face right now. It sounds really great.

I was worried it wouldn't have enough sizzle for the higher gain stuff, but nope... it works great for that application in this guitar. I will go a bit more in depth with my thoughts this weekend when I've had some time with it.
