Just ordered parts to make Rangemaster.

This is one of those "holy grail" type pedals that I've always wanted but couldn't afford from the boutique guys. Now with about $29 in parts and a little simple fabrication for the enclosure I should have one serious pedal with all the right goodies under the hood and the correct bias to make it sound all nice thanks to Smallbear's kind assistance. Should be a fun project. I'm thinking (given the other thread showing the jam pedal enclosure) of making the enclosure large enough to house the modded TS-5 (with DPDT switch for true bypass). That pedal needs a new casing anyway. This way I've got two fairly bluesy dirt pedals in one box. Might even add some more pedals in there if I feel like it.

I think it's a useful pedal for delving into those classic bluesy sounds. I prefer a strat with single coils, but it is a neat effect any way you slice it. The one I have is more of a bass reducer than a treble booster, but I guess that's the same thing.

Rangemaster is a great pedal. When I used mine in front of my old Sound City 50+ on 10, man it was HEAVEN on earth. Loud as f*ck, but Heaven on earth!
