I really should learn not to do first take solo's all the time, I'm happy with most of it but some of it is a bit hesitant because its a first go.

Anyway enough excuses tell me what you think to the playing and tone

sounds great nuntius. what all gear did you use on this one? it sounded like an acoustic...or an acoustic simulator...unless my ears are decieving me....im a little lost when it comes to jazz.

I used my Ibanez RS530 into guitar port.

Solo is the neck pup on humbucker with some compression and verb, The rhythm is Neck pup split, and bridge humbucker split also with some delay.

I already forgot what amp models i used :smack:

There is a bass there (my Patrick Eggle Milan IV) but i seem to have mixed it right out of existance.. I might re do the levels later tonight

The right delay/verb settings make a huge difference to bringing a clean tone to life, and the compressor (vetta one) in guitar port can make your guitar sound amazing on a clean tone if used right

I use cubase sx to record all my stuff, using a guitar port for the tones

I've only heard the version in Austin powers, and I've heard the will smith version because my sister used to play it.

Its one of those tunes I know, just havent listened all the way through before (hence why theres only 2 lines from the song )

I just watched the Adam Fulara video to get the chords, worked out the 2 melody lines i knew, then improvised over the rest
