Keeley Fuzz Bender vs JHS Bender

I've had the keeley for several months and like some of the nasty fuzz I can pull out of it. But I agree with many opinions I read of it that some amount of sputter/velcro is always there. I was hoping for more of a tonebender mkii/mkiii vibe.

Im just a home hobbiest so i dont want to drop a bag of cash on an Analogman or other boutique box. So I've ordered the JHS Bender seeking a more vintage / smooth character. I should have it tomorrow.

Does anyone here have any experience A/B-ing both units?

my only bender is a fulltone, which i like just fine. im guessing the jhs will be fine? its even got a little mode switch or something on the side
