Keith Urban at his finest!

Alright, long before I knew who Keith Urban was I was really into this country band called "The Ranch". They had an amazing album that I couldn't find here in Mississippi so I went to Nashville to get this album! Of course, as we know now, it turned out that the front man of that crazy country trio, Keith Urban, was destined for "greater" things as a solo artist. Great music, in fact I still believe his best work was on that "The Ranch" album so today I give you the track "Clutterbilly" which is a rare instrumental that even had a music video on CMT. I think you guys will get a kick out of this one.

Clutterbilly

That boy has got some chops. I'd like to see a G3 with him, Brad Paisley and Jerry Donahue.

It's no "Rollercoaster" but yeah....that boy can PLAY !!!!

+1 on Urban-Paisley-Donahue (OR Brent Mason) for a G3 :bigthumb:

Re: Keith Urban at his finest!

same here, when I finally realized who was doing all that guitar playing...turns out he was a hot shot hired gun back in Oz before he came to America, and even after that he was on the road backing up bands like Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks before he finally went solo

Re: Keith Urban at his finest!

I love Keith Urban's playing. It's great Tele stuff with a little hair on it.

Re: Keith Urban at his finest!

He was never on the road with Garth Brooks or the Dixie Chicks, he just did studio work with them.

Actually, no...if you check out the liner notes of Garth Brooks' live tour cd, Keith Urban is credited with some of the electric guitar work. It's hard to not go on the road with someone and still play the electric guitar on the live album (and no, they did no studio overdubbing for the garth double live cd..it's all actually live)
