Took my Hot Rails clone out of my Tele to put in the bridge pos of a strat with a vintage rails middle & cool rails neck & it sounded very weak. Took it out & one coil is shorted. It was a tight fit but it was wrapped well. Occasionally with manipulation the coil will read 6 ohms like the other coil then go back to shorting out. Bummer. I've got other pups but still hate to have a good pup go bad. Oh Well..
