This is too cool!!!! Custom Shop original Kelly List: $7,000 ( :yell: ) I have always loved that shape!

Some USA Jackson pics I took this weekend at the Dallas Guitar Show... That green one had a list price of $5300 if I remember correctly. I truly love that US Airforce graphic!

Not a Jackson but still pretty nice. So far I am pretty impressed with the new Chavel stuff. I played a 2 humbucker San Dimas this weekend and thought it was very, very solid guitar for its $1500 selling price.

25th anniversary KingKelly, to be exact number 3 of 25...the body is about 20% larger than todays Production Kellys ("Friedman Kellys"), and the cutouts of course..

IMO horribly overpriced at 7k list, though, but DCGL, like Guitarasylum, has a tendency to overcharge IMO, so they´re plobably still sellign it for 6k or so..... :yell:

A perfect comparison would be Big Red / 25th anniversary King V/ Double Rhoads. Big Red is a Robbin Crosby Tribute "Double Rhoads", w Robbin´s signature on the axe, a limited ed Serial number (JCF-YCE edition), special Urethane finish, allsorts of other cool features....and lots of cool swag...

Big Red had a LIST price of 5300. The 25th anni is nearly identical in sopecs, and lists for 7k as well..... Zerb is not pleased.....

The Kelly and the Strathead Star Still rock, though ;)

Very, very cool.

Jackson usually puts a great paint job on their normal MIA guitars. Their custom shop can put out some amazing stuff. I love to see 'em. Looks like you had a fun weekend!

Re: Killer USA Jackson Pics

BTW, judging by the axes in pic 2, I´d say that was probably Kevin Easton´s "booth", or?

No, that was this shop in Houston, I believe called Vintage Guitars. I'll post their web address later. That place had the best guitars of the entire show. That black one with the maple board and black shark fins was KILLER. It was hand built by Mike Shannon in the Custom Shop. I loved it also....

Hey RGN, you didn't by any chance get a picture of that black one did you?
I would love to see it!

Re: Killer USA Jackson Pics

No. I wish I did. It had a plain black finish with a H-S pickup configuration similar to an ESP MII or Lynch series. That is my favorite pickup configuration so it really made me go nuts.
