So, anyone know what Buzzo was using on the Bullhead album?

-Les Paul Customs (with eitehr stock pickups or sometimes a JB in the bridge)
-Sunn (SS) Bass and guitar heads
-Hiwatt cabs (with stock Fanes) (one studio, 2 to 4 live)
-Pro Co Rat (big box "Vintage" reissue)
-MXR Blue Box

Tune to drop D and take your high E off...

I figured he was using Sunn solid state gear and a rat. Thanks for the info.

As far as I know that is what he's been using for a lot of years...I know he switches the amps up with Fantomas (JCM 800's) but a LPC, a Rat and a SS SUnn has been his core tone for years.

Yeah, I have seen live pics of him with The Melvins using JCM's too. But yeah, I figured he was using his "normal" setup on Bullhead. But I needed clarification. The tone on "Boris" is crushing. A-A-D-G-B-E tuning rocks.

:argh: Damn I am jealous. That's two of my favourite bands. I have had Head for The Shallow and Here Comes the Waterworks on constant rotation for so long. Have a good time man :headbang:
