Anyone had any experience with Kittyhawk amps?

Apparently German made but modelled off Mesa Boogie designs.

I've never played one either, but Reb Beach always sounded damn good through them.

Thanks guys. Was looking at one the other day that seemed pretty cheap. Has really big transformers - be a pretty good power supply going to the tubes from the looks of it.

Might have to give it a try...

Kinda like a smoothed out/compressed modded marshall.

I had one during the 80's. Loved it. You could switch between 6L6 power tubes and EL 34's. Had plenty of gain for a Soldano-ish sound (at least that's how I remember it). A bit noisy though on the distorted channel.
