I own both a lopoline and an earcandy. The lopoline is nice, but the earcandy is far superior in both tone and build quality. The only bad thing is that if you want an earcandy, there current wait time is about a month. The lopolines on Ebay are ready to ship. Got mine in less than a week.

Avatar makes really solid cabs for the money IMHO, but the "Traditional" 1x12 is basically a cube that I got before I knew better (17x17x15-1/2). The cube shape just sounds wrong to my ears but YMMV. The "Vintage" 1x12 is a nice shape - 24x20-1/2x11.
Well made, well packed, great price and good service. What's not to like?
Haven't seen one in the flesh, but at a higher price point these cabs look great and the guy's got a solid reputation: http://www.reasonamps.com/speakercabinet.htm

The Avatars are nice but I'll tell ya...recent;y I was blown away by 1x12 Mes cabs! They sound HUGE and are very well made!

Mojo makes a nice oversized 1x12. It has a removable baffle to accomodate other configurations from 1x12, 2x12, 2x10, 1x15.

I picked up a used mesa 1x12 thiele cabinet recently and also bought a lopo 1x12. I have been experimenting with different speakers but the thiele cabinet is MUCH bigger, richer sounding. I am toying with the idea of drillling some large holes in the lopo's baffle board to try and 'open it up' a little.

If you're talking about this, it's a good deal at $210 IMHO. Mojo makes top notch cabs.
Avatar is $248 including a speaker though...

Yep, that's the one. My buddy got one off of ebay for quite a bit less plus had a surplus of speakers already on hand. He's got both the 1x12 and 2x12 baffles. Avatar also makes some really nice cabs.

I own a lopoline 2x12 and love it. I got it for 190 shipped and recieved it in about a week. Great service to.
I've never dealt with Avatar but I've heard lots of great stuff about them and if you want a loaded cabinet their prices are impossible to beat as far as I've seen. (assuming you want to go Celestion or Eminence)
