Ok
So ,I'm looking for somethig along the lines of a mini portable jamming tool, home bedroom level practise tool and mini recorder for recording ideas on the fly convieniently by simply pluggin in the geetar and letting rip. Wow, what a long sentence, how an ever.
I mention the Korg and Zoom only because they are the only units that can do what i'm looking for that I Know Of, so if there are any other units available like these please do share also.
I've gone over TwilightOdyssey's revied of the PXR4 https://forum.seymourduncan.com/showthread.php?t=20531&highlight=pxr4
and I must say his review makes it sound like it could be a very nice piece of kit.
But i've noticed for an extra €50 or so I could get the ZOOM PS-04.
It seems to be loaded with a good bit more functions (e.g more effects of all types for all needs, effects structure seems more elaborate,10 virtual track as opposed to 8 etc...)
I know vicariously that the Korg will sound pretty good as i've played the Valvetronix and loved the tones that were to be got from them, But if the ZOOM's amp sims and effects sound anything like that on their foot pedals I know i want to stay well well clear of it.
So i guess in short, how does the amp sims on the Zoom compare to the Korg?
Cheers
