Krank Rev Jr

I'm really interested to see how this new mini stack turns out. If it can get the high gain tones that krank is known for in a small stack like that then I'm going to have to get one for college next year. It also could provide some good contrasting tones to my Laney on recordings as well. Only thing that I'm worried about is that krank amps are notorious for needing to be "kranked" up in order to sound good. If you haven't taken a look at it yet, here is the link.

Re: Krank Rev Jr

Mmmmmm, now thats a secksie amp. Got a lot of the "I want it" factor, but since I've already got a rev1, not a whole lot of the "I need it" factor.

Still...I'd love to try one out. If its anything like its bigger brother, It'd be great for recording.

Re: Krank Rev Jr

I've gotta try one of the heads... it looks damned cool, but I'm not sure if I'll end up liking it the way my tastes have gone.

Re: Krank Rev Jr

i've had a 1/2 stack version in my cart on musiciansfriend for about 4 days now and just can't decide if i should blow the cash on it or not.

Re: Krank Rev Jr

The head is able to be run with other speakers yes, but you have to buy it as a half or full stack anyway. So unless you wait for someone to possible sell just a head used you'll have to buy the cabs anyway.

Re: Krank Rev Jr

Any of you guys happen to know what speaker will be in the cab it comes with? I assume a legend v12 like the standard Rev cabs but I may be wrong.
