Here it is boys and girls... Never thought I'd throw it up for sale, but I got Les Paul GAS and it's got me by the ba!!$...I first built this as a copy of the Jeff Beck Tele-Gib built by Seymour Duncan. Did a relic body originally, but sold it as I wanted only black guitars in my herd. I documented the build, had over 16K views on my web page and is one of 3 kustom Teles shown on the Telemodders site which I moderated. This is the latest incarnation, much classier and with mods that make it very unique.
Duncan Jazz and JB pups, just like the original, KILLER tones. (The JB is actually a zebra, I put one of those coil stickers to make it a full creme...more like the original...looks kool) I made a custom 3 knob hot dog plate, 2 volumes (1 for each pup) and a master tone. All Fender 250K pots, again, like the original. A Les Paul toggle put right where a Les Paul toggle should be, the perfect spot for quick switching. Switchcraft 3way and jack. The body is an ebay find, real nice black finish and aged white top binding, looks to be an ESP body. My original was a string-through, this one is a top loader, has a tad more spank! I put on a Fender Jimmie Vaughan Strat neck, the best Strat neck (IMO) Fender made. Soft V neck (great soft full shape up by the nut for a solid grip on those open string chords)that flattens out mid-neck for those meedly-meedly solo rips,med-jumbo frets and a killer satin finish that never gets sticky, this neck is all butta. Kustom decals. Setup real tight, nice action, 10 gauge strings, plays like a dream and mind blowing tone...must see and play. Well balanced feel/weight. With old rectangle hard case (sorry my name on it)...get this one of a kind rock monster hot rod Tele for just $550.00 shipped and insured! You can't build one with a JV neck and all the kustom mods this cheap...well, maybe, but I did all the work, just play it and rock on. Any question, please ask...don't make me put it on ebay, you Duncan fiends must want this!
