I just got a Bill and Becky L-500XL and was originally planning to put it in my Partscaster... but I got impatient and stuck a JB in there instead.
Now I'm wondering which guitar it would sound the best in. I was either thinking I'd throw it in my LP Studio along with a 57 Classic in the neck.
Or I could throw it in one of my other strats. I have an American Special strat that currently has a TZ in the bridge. I already have another strat with a TZ so I was thinking about trying something different.
So in general, what does the L-500XL usually sound best in? An alder bodied strat or a Mahogany (chambered) LP?
