I went last year with Curly, and had a blast. There were a few amp companies that should have been there, but weren't, like Bogner, who's only 4 miles away, but I got to finally hear a lot of amps I knew nothing about. I still wear my Amp Show T Shirt.
This year, I totally forgot about it, and wish I would have gone. Olin went though.

I wanted to go, but it didn't work out. I hear Billy Gibbons was there this year. I went last year and it was fun. They rent out the whole hotel and then have vendors in different hotel rooms. It was cool. Got to meet the guy who does the Z-vex pedals and got a free Mesa shirt & hat. It's a cool concept for a show, just show up and get in, not like Namm, at all.

I'm sorry I missed it .. it kinda snuck up on me. I should've gotten ahold of Gearjoneser again and arranged to meet there. I was sorry that we missed the early panel discussion last year, as I think it would be pretty interesting.

How does one find out about this "amp show"? Who puts it on? How does one get on the "mailing list"? I would love to go next year ! !

If they have it next year, it'll probably be at the same place and same time, May 13th. They usually advertise in the Guitar Magazines.
