Lace Sensor combined with other pickups?

I was going to try and put a lace sensor on top my custom 54 middle, and pearly gates at the bridge. I was told this cannot work due to varying magnetic field. Can someone explain this to me? Also Is there anyway to make it work?

It will work fine. A friend of mine runs a pair of cool rails in the neck and mid of his strat with a red sensor at the bridge and it's been working well for a year now.

Some of the Fender HM Strats came stock with Lace pickups in the neck, and Dimarzios at the bridge. I have two Lace Hot Golds and a DiMarzio Breed in my HM Strat Ultra, and no problems at all. (see avatar). Probably it is necessary not to have the pickup with stronger magnetic field too close to the strings, since that can disturb the weaker magnetic field of the Laces?

i had stock lace sensors gold on all 3 positions of my usa fender strat plus,removed all but the middle postion.tried the vintage rails there,call me crazy but there is nothing like the lace gold in the middle.2 other friends use the lace gold(the ones i sold) in the middle and prefered them to texas special and fat 50´s.
in the neck it was way to thin and fake.
hated the bridge and put a jb(happier man now).
try it in the middle
