In terms of plugins go to www.bartekbeben.com I've made a step by step guide on how to get that sound, what plugins were used and a screenshot of the entire project in DAW.

Guitar is a Godin Redline HB, Suhr Aldrich under the bridge think a tad hotter JB.

Sounds pretty spot on. I suppose using the real backing track really helps demonstrate it.
