Laney 112 cabs

More specifically the Ironheart 112 cabs... even more specifically : The GS112V with Celestion V-type, a special edition with some cosmetic appointments and better speaker, and I dunno what else, but I found one with a really great price tag and it looks cool. No info whether these are mdf or plywood - the 112 ones, not the bigger brothers. Are these junk or decent? Thanks all...

Laney 112 cabs

I can only speak for the IRT112. They’re heavy duty with convenient handles. I also have an Orange PPC112 - I find myself using the IRT112 most of the time. They just sound better and cost less than the PPC112.

Looks like the GS112v is an upgraded version of the IRT112. Making a great cabinet even better. I’m very happy with my IRT112, and can only imagine what the GS112v sounds like!

I have the IRT 2x12 & it's a great sounding cab, stock speakers and all :bigthumb:

I don't think you could go wrong with your choice..

This is V-type limited edition Cab, fairly good price IMO. I may have picked the last one but it says it will be available by October 10, possibly for an updated price though

I would not get hung up on MDF or plywood. If the cab sounds good it sounds good. I have an MDF Marshall 2x12 that would blow your socks off. I played a Laney stack for a while it was fantastic. Everything I have heard about the smaller Laney cabs has been very positive. If it is in your budget you found a cab that can service you for many years to come.
