Laney VH100R

Here's a clip of a Laney VH100R through a 5150 straight 4x12 loaded with Vintage 30's. The guitar is a BC Rich NJ Beast w/EMG 81 in the bridge. Before the input, the signal runs through a Boss GE-7 with faders set in what appears to be a frown, with no boosts. In the loop is an Alesis Micro EQ cutting a little around 500k. The cab was mic'd with a Shure SM-57. The drums and bass are MIDI, but oh, well.

Re: Laney VH100R

That is a real nice aggressive tone. tons of beef but lots of clarity too. That riff just kills. I dig it!

Re: Laney VH100R

It's a great song, no doubt. I hope Slayer's next album is at least as good as their last.

Thanks for listening! I'm really happy with the amp. Ever since I sold my GH50L, I've been through a few heads, but was never really completely happy. Hopefully I will be this time...
