+1, Very cool vocals, and the guitar parts suited the song.

like the addition of the delay in that intro lick! adds some swagger. great idea!

is there either more gain or is the volume louder for the guitar part? it sounds slightly more distorted (could just be my speakers though, but it sounds more distorted). personally, i dont the more distorted as much, but just me.

sounds like more rockin drumming as well.....that sounds pretty happening. are there also parts where the bass is brought more into the mix? if so, it sounds cool.

also, did you add an extremely distorted guitar waaaay in the back durring the chorus? personally, i think it takes away from the laid back feeling that i liked about the track. after a listen to another version i have, i think i can hear that guitar as well. but its farther in the backround. (i might just be hearing things as well and the extremely distorted guitar might not even be there).

i dont know what version the other one i have is, but for the most part i like it better (other than the things i said were cool). only giving constructive critisism because i think its a great great tune!

Very good X! U are mighty observant!

I also really like what the panning delays do to the intro/interludes. I like u'r phrase "adds some swagger".

I did not add any gain to the main gtr sound, but it was re-eq'ed, to be less boxy sounding. In essence, it's brighter now, which may be making it sound like it has a bit more gain.

I can't remember doing any big changes to the drums. I have been tweakin' this tune for a while, so I'm sure it's changed.

A few weeks ago, I did add the distorted gtr in the chorus. The last few versions of the tune has had that gtr eq'ed and re-leveled many times. Tryin' to get it to sit right. I'm tryin' to make the chorus sound bigger. I honestly like it, I'm just not sure it's sitting perfectly.

Thanx for takin' the time to tell me what u hear. The biggest downside of writing, playing, recording, & engineering u'r own stuff, is not getting the perspective of lots of other ppl. So, it's really cool to hear what u think. Thanx again!

as a guitar player, i knew that it was a heavily distorted guitar. however, i think that someone who is listening to it for fun might just think its static. in fact, i original thought that it was....

the little slides that you are doing with that guitar part sound cool though. if you could edit those and have the bass part do it, that would be happening (imo, of course).
