Learning resourses on Microphones?

Re: Learning resourses on Microphones?

my advice:

I would not focus on gear. if you cant mix because no monitors, it does not matter matter really if you use great gear because the mix will be lacking.

cool riff, I would just focus on playing and not on microphones and mixing cause it is a money pit ;)

trut

I have not figured that $$$ part out, I am hemorraging money with my music hobbie ;)

Re: Learning resourses on Microphones?

Trying to buy speakers (monitors, stereo, PA) that remotely match the accuracy of medium-priced headphones is practically hopeless. Even if you were to dump major $$$ into the speakers and crossovers then you would still have to spend thousands on room treatment.

Re: Learning resourses on Microphones?

ya lots mix on headphones and it sounds good to me

I have some of those types of headphones but I dont like using em I just use rokit6s and no treated rooms, prolly I should use the headphones

Re: Learning resourses on Microphones?

It is also a rewarding hobby and career.

I love writing songs just for my joy but I helped my friend the other day to record his song, then when his daughter (she sings) know about it she wanted to come here and try to record something, also a friend of that girl wanted to come here and get started. So it really made me noticed (1) I really enjoyed helping my friend recording his song (2) Out there there is more people wanting to records their own songs from amateurs to aspiring pros that need someone else to help them but don't have the money to go to a studio yet (3) If I get my skills to a decent point I would love to turn it into a side job.
