Les paul custom dual 59's

[LP's for life]

got a les paul custom with dual SD 59's.. anyone else out there with a similar spec guitar that can put in a good word for this p'up combination?? i play a mix of medium/high gain rock/punk stuff and find the bridge compliments my modern drive sound whilst retaining the original vintage sparkle.

build is a mahogany body with alder top and mahogany neck

im in the process of finishing up a LP im building. alder body, zebrawood top, bolt on 1 piece rosewood neck. i have a pair of 59s in dropping there. those are my fave SD pups, cant get enough of them

'59's are a great pickups, and they work especially well in an LP. I prefer the Jazz in the neck to the '59 though. The '59 is a little too boomy in the neck. The Jazz has a very similar vibe without being too boomy.
