These are GREAT guitars! Much much better than the later ones without the binding and pearl logo. $900 is a good price for this. Maybe post it over on the Les Paul Forum or TGP. It should last long at that price.

I tried to post there but i think it's subscipition only? Maybe the word will get out from here...
But it is really a beauty! The action is nuts, so low...
When i got it there was some rusting in the polepeices so i took it apart and polished every screw and peice. New strings and a setup etc... awesome now!
I'm just saving for a Jaguar and am not the type to have 5 guitars laying around.
I have an bay account with 130 perfect feedbacks(100% positive) And have sold a Les Paul to Zhanglquin here.
Could negotiate shipping etc...

These are real nice guitars. I love the heck out of my '97 LP Special. They are pretty hard to find, especially with true P-90's and not P-100's. Great price on this one.
Yeah, that impression on the headstock is very common on these models. Every LP Special I looked up when I bought mine had that blemish. I think it's a factory defect.

Yes, neck is thin. I'm willing to move on price a bit also.... trying to get some money together.
The cool thing about this guitar is the action and the frets. I swear they are the tallest frets i've ever played.
You can see they are original but man, untouched. This combined with very low, buzzless action... like butter as they say.
And sound wise it has that Neil Young density. Pure, long sustaining sound.
I'm gonna go ebay soon so.....
