Les Paul Standard try out

Tuned my baby down to Drop C#, jammed abit on Unchained and various others... Dont mind the noise in the last 5-10secs.. Tried to play Cold Sweat whilst in Drop C#..... Never mind

Used a Boss OD-1 from 1981 and my Marshall JCM800 2203... LP got a Duncan Custom in the bridge.. Like it alot so far

Btw, dont slag me too hard, only been playing for 2½ years, and got home after a long day at work... Also only recorded through headset mike..

Just listened to it again, lots of mic oversteer...

I will try again later.. Just too tired right now

Btw Marshall only at 2 on the master, no cranked here.

Ah now that would be nice with a proper mic!!
But through all the overloading the sound feels right!
Eventhough it is a dratted tuby

Hehehehe yeah Yeah.. But it does have that Van Halen vibe imo.. No tightness here

It sounded horrible. Too much highs, the sound quality (mic) was just beyond imagination. Remove it from the web. Now. I'm not really happy now that I've heard someone living so close to me bash these great songs.

Wow those palm mutes sound disgusting, you seriously have to re-record that one, I doubt it sounded this bad in person.

Palm mutes sounded disgusting? I dont have no tight-amp or tight-bucker in my guitar.. It sounds that way, raw and heavy.. No stinky tightness or thinness here

I will re-record though, the mic sucked hard.

Yeah Zakks can get annoying...

But Viv Campbell and John Sykes do them to perfection though

I was absolutely serious, but perhaps I overreacted a bit, on purpose.
I mean, it's a sin to let that kind of cr** to disrupt the good name of Marshalls, Boss overdrives, Les Pauls and SH-5 Custom.
Yeah, you should re-record it, and then we will do final judgement.
And truly, Viv and Johnny-boy Sykes are a lot better than Zakk at using pinches to spice their playing.

I actually quite liked the tone other than the crappy mic quality...those palm mutes were especially cool.
