Let me have it.

Re: Let me have it.

nice tone, friend :) ... a nice little melody you got there with a nice dose of tele 'snap and twang' to bring it along ... nice job using the compression to bring it out .. i liked the way the effects were also very tasteful and musical

little quibbles, i thought the kick drum is a bit too hot in the mix and the guitar is a bit low, especially given that it is carrying the melody ... you could also stand to bring on a little boost for tonal variety in the middle section

who is your local tele-tech here in b'more land? ... i'd like a recommendation on who i can bring my new tokai tele clone to for tweaks

thanks for sharing your chops

cheers

Re: Let me have it.

Thanx guys. appreciate the input. Sadly I can't re mix the drums etc... as it is a jam track, I just played the lead over it.

Re: Let me have it.

Well, I don't think the kick is too loud ...
The guitar sound has some really nice pop to it, man!
I like the lyrical phrasing on the main melody guitar, as well.

Thanx TO. I do mostly tele country stuff so snap is a MUST for what I hear in my head... other than the voices

Re: Let me have it.

BTW I got a few privates about what I used on the lead guitar.

Tele with vintage stack duncans.
