i believe you are correct, i think the texas hot is rw with the surfer so you need to reverse the polairty as well.

I can't wait for you to try that combo and give us your opinion, John.

My Strat with Surfer n & m and Texas Hot Custom bridge is the only one I've been playing for the last month or two! I just love it.

But I've only tried that combo in that one guitar and don't know how it'll sound in yours.

In mine, the Surfer/Tex Hot combo is the Ultimate Strat tone. Tied for #2 would be: all three Surfers or the Fralin Vintage Hots with Fralin SP-43 bridge.

That's what's in my three favorite Strat. Each has a differant set of my favorite pickups.

Lew, one set that interests me is the Surfer neck and middle, along with the Fralin Steel pole 43 bridge. Do Fralins and Surfers jive together, or is the wind and polarity backwards? To bad all the guitar/pickups companies didn't do it ONE way, then keep it like that.
