Lew, would you say it'd work well in conjunction with a Boss Blues Driver? If I had to pick only two Boss pedals and nothing else, it'd be the Blues Driver and DS-1 (luckily, both are on my ME-50! ), but I can't really run two OD/Distortions at the same time with my ME-50. And $39 for a DS-1 sounds mighty good to me!

If you did do that, I'd run the Blues Driver into the DS-1. Like I said earlier, the DS-1 will process and smooth the tone of another overdrive/fuzz/distortion device and, IMO, usually improve the tone. I hate those Electro Harmonix Big Muff fuzz tones, but my buddy AJ uses one plugged into his DS-1 and the DS-1 removes that ZIPPER tone from the Big Muff. Lew
