Strat o Tele

So, the other day I was trying to fix the bridge on a Stratocaster, after I got that all set up I threw together a B.Y.O.P guard I had laying around with a JB-JR in the bridge pos., a SSL-5 mid. pos., & a Duckbucker in the neck. The pup combo sounds great but for some reason the guitar is really noisy? Not grounding loop noisy, but snap, crackle, pop, S.C. kind of noise? It shouldn't be there with the H/S/H setup that I have? I didn't run a body ground, most new fenders have the grounding paint sprayed inside & a lug running to the vol. pot witch greatly reduces the noise? Could this be my problem & if so where would I run that lug too on the Liberator? Would it go to the fourth term next to the claw ground, jack ground, & jack hot lead? There is a fourth term but I have no idea what it's for??? Also, there's all the gold foil ground spots on the pot/board, should I run the body ground off one of these instead? Please help! I already have a thing for VOX tube amps so the last thing I need is avoidable guitar noise!!!!!!!
