Licensed Floyd Rose NECK with OFR/Schaller German Floyd Tremolo on jackson guitar

I have a '90's MIJ Jackson Dinky Reverse & installed a DXMG neck. The guitar came with the JT-580LP trem and I installed a Schaller Lockmeister. The only problem was that the Schaller R3 locking nut was way too high at ~10.3mm.

I was going to order the nut below. I'm wondering if 9mm is going to be low enough. Does anyone know the millimeter height of the Licensed Floyd Rose Tremolo locking nuts?

What you need is the Jackson BH43 nut. You can usually find them used on eBay for $15 or so. Ibanez/Gotoh nuts work, and I've got a Floyd Rose R4/2 nut that I got from a forum bro, but I don't know how common that part is, I was completely unaware of its existence.

Thanks for the reply! I actually picked up a BH43 nut :) I measured it and it's about 8.8mm high and the Schaller Fender Special is 9mm high, that seems like a close enough difference. I might grab the Schaller as I want everything to match.
Thanks again!

I have one just like it, I think might even be the same color, mine looks more blue than that though.

Thanks guys! Yep its' purple, in person it's dark eggplant but in the light you can see the flake. It has it's chips and wear, but I bought it new in ~'94 for $579 and have swapped out the parts recently.

I've been debating on which route to go as far as the locking nut, the BH43 didn't work as the 2 screw holes don't line up with the holes in the neck. Very strange, the Schaller R3 lines up perfect but it's just too high.

I'm also bothered by the space on the side of the trem as you can see in the pics. I don't think there is a german made floyd or schaller that will fill in the space on the JT-580LP routing.

I guess I'd lay the one that's too tall on a file or some sandpaper that's adhered to a flat surface and start shaving it down, little by little, until I got it where I wanted it. Might take a long time, though.

Check out WD Music. They have all of the Floyd Rose nut sizes from #1 through #10 in Chrome, Black, and Gold. Look at all the sizes, they very in there dimensions of width and depth as well as some having a notch in the bottom for clearance of a bullet type T-rod nut.
Nice lookin Git-box by the way!

Thanks for the feedback and compliments guys. I decided to actually swap out my Schaller hardware for black oem jackson stuff with this guitar as the spaces in the trem kept drawing my eye, I wanted the flush oem look.

I will probably be putting my Schaller hardware in a new Jackson project that originally came with a OFR so the nut will fit the neck and there will be no spaces in the trem cavity.
