Light sounding lower output HB

[Baby Evil]

I now have JB in my LAG (mahogany), and it sounds too dark and is way too hot. What will give me a clearer sound, lowest output from a HB?

Clearer sound + Lowest output = stagmag.

Would I recommend it: probably not.... what exactly are you looking to change / looking for as a final result?

I find the Stag Mag to be pretty high output

Now that you mention it and I delve deeper into my crainium: you´re right, it was pretty hot... nowhere near a Custom, but definitely not a single coil, either

I'd go with a set of 59's or a set of the Jazz humbuckers. Don't let the Jazz handle scare you: they rock! Lew

Jazz neck and Pearly Gates + work really well in my brother's Yamaha.

clearer, lower output is available from any humbucker by
wiring in parallel rather than series. JB responds nicely to
these mods, as well as coil cutting.
