Lightnin' Rods + Michael Pop Flexcore

So I'm not familiar with how the Jazz lightnin' rods are powered, but my flexcore pre-amp has an "active pickup" jumper and a "battery (+)" terminal for a wire.

So will my pre-amp power these pickups for would I need to make yet another cavity for a battery?

It's getting crowded under there..

Well actually now I'm looking at the AJJ-1 Pro-Actives, but the question stands all the same lol

+9 Volts via the insulated red wire. For +18v, use a double battery clip or external power.
