Lil'59n user, your opinion plzz..

Iam thinking to replace my Sadowsky strat(alder body, rosewood fretboard) neck pups with lil'59n. Anyone tried this pups, what do you think??
I have lil'59b but dislike it but curious for the neck one. Iam looking for new tone from this strat since i own 2 of them. All i know is this pups didn't sound like humbuker or single either. Help me guys...

I got one for my American Strat (alder, rosewood) and I love it. Pretty bassy, but not muddy. Just perfect for a neck pickup in my opinion. But it all depends on what kind of music you play.

mine is in an american standard strat ash/rosewood, trem locked. i use 11-48 strings.
depending on the setup i can get very dark sounding. sometimes i miss a
minimum of treble/brilliance. but it's fantastic smooth

I have one in the neck position of an old Squier. It doesn't sound exactly like the full-sized 59, but it totally works for similar applications. I like the bit of ceramic magnet bite it has.

The lil59 is a great pickup for neck or bridge. What didn't you like about it? What kind of pots were you using? I heard using the 59b for the neck sounds good. Try putting it in the neck and see how it sounds.

i actually like the lil 59 bridge in the middle position best, for whatever reason it just slays in there. its ok in the neck or bridge but in the middle its got a great fat tone!

I play mostly jazz n rock. Actually Iam lookig for balance tone.

Iam using 250k pots(vol&tone), maybe the lack of definition and low thump when using distortion that i don't like. I replace them with JBjr and i like them better. Putting lil59b in neck post crossed my mind but iam to lazy to experiment latey, but i think i will try it.

250k/500k pots are you guys suggesting? Iam planning to put Lil humbucker for this strat. N/M/B=Lil59n/Lil59b/JBjr.

I love the lil59n in my MIA Strat.

When I had 3 lil59s in that same guitar a switched to 500k pots and the tone improved dramatically.

Now that Strat has a JB/Hot Stack/lil59 with 500k pots and it sounds phenominal.

I also have a JBjr in the mid position of a RG 550 with 500k pots and it sounds very nice as well.

500k pots really seem to work well for me with the lil/jr series pickups.
