Line 6 pod xt users - what recording software do you use?

....how much does it cost and where can I get it?

At the moment, I'm running my podxt through a pair of Roland headphones for practice, but what I really want to do is hook up the podxt with my cpu for recording/playback over some drum and bass tracks that I have.

Any suggestions? What do you guys think of the RIFFTRACKER software that line 6 are selling for $99 on their website?

audacity (free) with my v-amp but i do nothing special ....

ProTools 6.4 LE through MBox. Very powerful stuff - I still haven't touched 1% of the functionality you can get from PT. I used to use Cakewalk 9 and recorded with the Pod, but ProTools only works with Digidesign hardware.

Same setup here. When I took my digital audio class we delved and I mean delved into pro tools and we still didn't get through more than about 50% of what that thing can do. I guess thats why I have my 500+ page pro tools book that tells you everything.
