they are awesome
they have mic pre models and no pre settings so you can mic your real amp
they have awesome amp models, bass models, mic pre models and great tone and effects
the usb drivers are killer and work with most recording software without any issues
they come with ableton for multitracking
dont know about mp3
they are cheap
I sold a bass xt, pod xt, tube preamp, 002 when I got this thing...if that tells you how simple and effective it is.

Bad part is that it requires a computer to use, but you probably aren't going to use it live anyways. Cocount, how do you like the tonepro, I thinking about getting the lower or maybe the higher model for recording.

I plan on getting one also cause I'm not going to use pod live or anything like that so the toneport is a better choice cause it's cheaper and has a bunch of models from the guitar/bass podxts.
