Line 6 Vetta owners...How do you like update 2.5?

I've read on the Institute of Noise site that the amp now sounds even more like a tube amp and the models sound even better PLUS they've added quite a few more.

Well, I did the upgrade this evening and they're pretty on the money with this one. The Vetta is NOW the amp I always wanted it to be. Once it's pushing some air it sounds incredible. It's closer to sounding like tube than it's ever been, maybe even matching the sound. They really improved on the Fender models and the 68 plexi sounds full, warm, crunchy and most of all, real. They added a few other models as well for a total of 80! I really dig the Orange amp model too.

Oh well, just gushing a bit. If anyone gets a chance to try a Vetta with the 2.5 upgrade do it. You might get a surprise. Is it the best sounding amp ever? Well, some of the models now are just incredible. Some are not. I'm really thrilled with this 2.5 update in case you can't tell. I'm an amp slut and this gives me a way to get so many classic tones with one head. :smoker:

The few people here who can afford one are all tube snobs. :amish:

LOL, well there's nothing wrong with that! It was my lack of knowledge however that led me to want, then get the Vetta (Vetta I with pedal for $900 about two or so years ago).

I always liked tube amps better, but I just didn't know why I did. I've learned all that from this forum, but I'm a tube snob as well. This amp I feel is the exception to that feeling, especially with the new 2.5 update.

P.S. I wish I was a hotchickologist too. But I'm old, fat and ugly so I'm just a dirtyoldmanologist. :smokin: :eek13: :laugh2:
