I had a hard time with a Strat lil 59 bridge. Did not like it at first. Discovered it is real sensitive to height adjustments. Once dialed in it became a favorite. Play a Telecaster with vintage type pups for the most part now but every now and then feel like getting my crunch on and dig out the old Strat. I have a Tele lil 59 waiting for the right neck pup and body to show up.
If you don't like it at first don't give up. It's a great pickup. I have a Vintage Rail in the neck an an old no name ceramic in the middle. Gets a good thick sound on the bridge, decent Strat quack in 2 and 4 and channel some SRV on the neck.
