little '59 with coil splitter pot wiring for mustang

I'm trying to install a little 59 humbucker in the bridge of a Japanese mustang and I'd like to also install a coil split push/pull pot. any help with wiring would be amazing. there's surprisingly little on the internet.

select: 1 humbucker, 1 volume, push/pull coil split

Is there any reason you wouldn't wire it like:
Neck (on/off/out of phase)
Bridge(on/off/split)

Using the existing switches?

I will also add that a split little humbucker isn't a great sound, but you might like it in parallel - and it still stays humbucking.
