They're discontinued.
They were $69.99 this past weekend at every Guitar Center in the US.

It requires either an 8-Ohm load bridged or two 4-Ohm loads stereo. That's it.

It's a nice little amp. I use it along with my POD as my main right now. Once I get my Atomic this one will be my Back-up. Of course as cheap as their getting I would almost buy 2 to run 2 cabs stereo, or as a back up for my current one.

I bought one when they hit $99 - then just set it aside. But we had an issue in our practice hall (my family room) where our drummer couldn't hear my guitar. I didn't want to play louder, so I tried to think of a way to get a speaker closer to him. Then I remembered the power block. I had a spare speaker (taken from an old combo). I put it in a cabinet by the drummer. Hooked it up to the power block in stereo - with the other speaker near me - and it worked!
The best thing is how clean it sounds. My first thought was to use it as a practice amp or a backup amp. But now, I'm beginning to think it might serve well as a main amp.

buy one. cool little (loud) toy. in my office at work, I keep a Keeley-modded Metal Zone plugged into the Power Block and Marshall 1936 2x12. great for fuggin around.
